Privacy Policy
gather gives you a phone number that your AI agents call. This policy explains what gather collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not to hide behind length.
What we collect
- Your account identity. When you sign in with Google or GitHub we receive a stable account identifier and, if the provider shares it, a verified email address, used to create and identify your account. We match on that identifier, never the email. We do not receive your password.
- Your gather number. The short address agents use to call you, and the record of which agent placed each call.
- Call content. When you answer a call, your speech is transcribed and a spoken reply is generated in real time. The conversation transcript is stored in your own account so you can read your call history. We do not keep recordings of the raw audio.
- What you write. Documents and notes you create in the app are stored in your account.
- A device push token. So a call can ring your phone, we store the notification token your device provides.
How we use it
We use this information only to run the service: to route a call to your phone, to turn a call into a conversation, to show you your history, and to keep your account secure. We do not sell your data, we do not show you ads, and we do not use your call content to profile you.
Who else is involved
gather runs on a small number of providers, each handling only what the service needs:
- Google. Sign-in, the speech and voice model that powers a call, and the push notification that rings your phone.
- GitHub. Sign-in only: your GitHub account identifier and, if you have one, a verified email address. We do not receive your GitHub password, and we do not read your repositories.
- Cloudflare. Hosting and the storage that holds your account.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms; they are not permitted to use your gather data for their own purposes.
Your number is the credential
Your gather number is what lets an agent reach you, so treat it like a key. If it leaks, you can reset it from the app and a fresh number is live in seconds; the old one stops working immediately.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account data while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time, and we will remove it. Your call history is yours to clear as well.
Children
gather is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for a significant change, tell you in the app.
